TECHNICAL SUPPORT/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Wave Wireless, a locally owned and operated internet service provider in Parsons, Kansas is looking for a full time technical support/customer service representative. 

 

Job duties include providing information to callers, handling new service inquiries and scheduling appointments for new installations or move of service.  Employee will also answer incoming phone calls and provide support to callers experiencing technical problems and use information given by customers to diagnose technical issues and walk customers through the steps needed to fix various problems.  If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone, the employee will schedule service call/repair tech to fix problem on site. In addition to phone calls, the employee will respond to email/voicemail/online message requests for technical support.

 

Applicant must have excellent listening and verbal communication skills to understand issues and clearly relay solutions to technical problems.  Computer skills are useful to help customers fix technical computer issues of all types.  In addition, applicant must have excellent time management skills to prioritize calls.
